Le Couperet

...put me in a disturbing mood.   A film on a family with the husband unemployed for more than two years. The anger, the frustration, the injustice that he felt were portrayed in the film.  The consequence of unemployment on love relationship and behaviour of the children came into play...  The feelings of fitness for survival and a want to kill......

The feelings were stronger while watching this film.  Perhaps the cinema experience had put me more immersed in a french context.

An escape route - an exit - was what everybody was looking for, but many are running in circles.  And some still are... The reality is hard to take.  It's difficult to shake it off, and breakthrough takes a lot of courage.

This film brought back some strong personal feelings.  Despite that, comparatively events aren't quite the same... There's more to that, and more complex... I remembered.

These feelings should pass in no time.
